On July 16th, ArtMax participated in the La Strada Chalk Art Festival in downtown Hillsboro. Over the course of the day, the ArtMax booth saw hundreds of visitors, and over 150 families participated in the free crafts set up and facilitated by Azar Salehi and our wonderful volunteers. At the crafts table, kids had the chance to sit and paint handcrafted pieces while taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling arts festival.
At our registration desk, we handed out $100 instant coupons for private lessons and $50 instant coupons for group lessons on a first-come-first-served basis. As a result, ArtMax successfully enrolled 9 new students! We look forward to welcoming them to the ArtMax Community!
At the end of the busy day, ArtMax took the stage and performed from 5-6pm. A crowd gathered to hear our music, and we generated interest in our future performances and events! You can see a gallery of photos and short video clips from the La Strada Chalk Art Festival on our website HERE
Speaking of future events, September brings two exciting ArtMax events! First, mark your calendars for our annual fundraiser! This year, we will finally gather in person to uplift ArtMax and its students, teachers, staff, and volunteers! More info is coming soon, but make sure you plan to join us on September 10th, 8pm at Lincoln Hall for an exceptional performance! The next day, September 11th, ArtMax will be hosting a workshop by internationally acclaimed artist Maestro Mohammad Khodadadi!
