Hello! Welcome to the ArtMax Blog! My name is Allie Hankins, and I was hired as ArtMax Academy's Administrative Assistant in December of 2021. It has been my pleasure to become familiar with ArtMax’s fantastic programming through these endeavors, and I’m inspired by their commitment to making arts education affordable and accessible to all!
I started this blog so that we can share exciting news, events, and announcements with you more regularly, and to periodically share stories about our staff and faculty. I do hope you visit the blog often, and feel free to comment and say hello!
Now, I’d like to share some upcoming events. On July 16th and 17th, ArtMax will be participating in the La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival in Downtown Hillsboro. We will be there handing out coupons for instant discounts on our upcoming classes, so come enroll! On Saturday, July 17th, we will offer a live music performance from 5-6pm, so we’d love to see you there! Entry into the festival is FREE, and it’s sure to be a fun-filled weekend for the whole family!
Finally, we are thrilled to announce that we received a grant from the James F. and Marion Miller Foundation! The funds will help us endure the continuation of our many exciting programs. We extend gratitude to the Miller Foundation for their support!
